History

Clifton at Home is a brand belonging to Nickel-Electro. Nickel-Electro’s roots can be traced back to 1935 when the company was based in Birmingham. The family business then moved to Weston-super-Mare in 1961 and has always maintained a strong reputation for producing high quality, British manufactured products.

2014 - The launch of Clifton At Home.

Clifton at Home ® was launched. A range of sous vide water baths suitable for the home cook, striving for a professional quality every time they cook.

2011

The early metalware range began to move into the catering industry. Chef's accessories for plating dishes and tasting creations.

Nickel-Electro opened the doors for chefs to come and visit their premises, to see the water baths being manufactured and then trial them in the demo kitchen.

Clifton Food Range was born. A new range or product specifically designed for the catering industry.

High profiled chefs started to use our laboratory equipment in the catering industry, for sous vide cooking. This included Heston Blumenthal and Raymond Blanc.
